Making Encouraging Cards for Hospitalized Kids and Families (Gulf Shores, AL)

Join us Thursday March 14th, 2024 from 3:00pm - 4:00pm in Gulf State Park in the covered area between the store and laundry room. We will be making cards for hospitalized children and their families at the Ronald McDonald House of NW Florida. The cards will be delivered the following week.

VOLUNTEER DAY DETAILS
Date: Thursday March 14th, 2024

Time: 3:00pm - 4:00pm

Location: Gulf State Park 22050 Campground Rd. Gulf Shores, AL 36542.  We will meet under the covered area between the Store and Laundry Room.

Parking: Please park in the lot directly out front, walk or bike to the event.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING
All are welcome to join us to make encouraging Cards for Hospitalized Children and their families. No matter your age or skill set, we'd love to have you! All supplies will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your favorite art supplies (please no glitter or anything that can fall off the cards as this can create health concerns for some patients).

Age Requirements: No age requirements,. This is a family friendly volunteer event, but if you have young children, please know that it will be your responsibility to supervise them in the area and help them with their cards.

Not staying at the campground, but want to seRV?

Great! Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in at the campground office and they will direct you from there.
