Join us at Holiday RV Park & Campground in Traverse City, MI to make cards and writing encouraging notes to our deployed service members.

WHERE WILL WE BE SENDING THE CARDS:
We will be sending the cards to Military Missions Inc. Beyond the Yellow Ribbon which is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exist to ensures our deployed troops realize we are grateful for their service and keeps our troops encouraged by sending them care packages. According to Military Missions Inc. handwritten cards and letters are the most cherymissions.org/cards/ished items in a care package. To learn more about Military Missions Inc. click HERE.

VOLUNTEER DAY DETAILS:

Date: Wednesday, July 10, 2024
Time: 5:00pm-6:00pm
Address: Holiday RV Park & Campground - 4860 US-31 South Traverse City, MI 49685. We will be meeting at the pavilion.
Tasks: All are welcome to join us to make encouraging cards for our deployed service members. No matter your age or skill set, we'd love to have you! All supplies will be provided, but you are welcome to bring what you would like to use (please no glitter or confetti as they can get in trouble if this gets on their uniforms)
Age Minimum: This is a family friendly volunteer event, but if you have littles, please know that it will be your responsibility to supervise them and help them with their cards.

Not staying at the campground, but want to seRV? Awesome! Arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in at the campground office and they will direct you from there.
