Teaming Up with Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeast North Carolina

Join us on Friday, March 14, from 1:00 to 3:30 pm EST to assist Second Harvest of Southeast North Carolina in their packaging warehouse.

NON-PROFIT: SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA

Second Harvest is the leading hunger-relief organization in the region and the second largest food bank in the state. They serve a nearly 12,000 square mile region made up of 26 counties, providing support to more than 400 partner agencies through a variety of programs including the Food Bank, Kids Cafe, Mobile Food Pantry, and Teachers’ Harvest among others.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING

We will be sorting and moving boxes of food items for distribution.

CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS

No open toe shoes (flip flops, sandals, or Crocs).
Dress in layers, the warehouse is not temperature controlled.

NOTES

This event is for ages 12+. Children 12-18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and must be supervised by parent/guardian at all times.
