Join us Wednesday, November 16 from 9:00-11:30am at Interfaith Emergency Services in Ocala, FL to volunteer in their food pantry and thrift store. All details needed are below. Please note: this event is limited to 20 volunteers. If we get more than 20 volunteers, we will take the first 20 to register.
WHAT IS INTERFAITH EMERGENCY SERVICES
Interfaith Emergency Services provides a full range of services and assistance for residents of Marion County that are in need. Families and individuals are referred to Interfaith by churches, synagogues, public services agencies or word of mouth.
They provide basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, medications, hygiene items and much more to enhance the quality of life and ease the burden for those in financial distress. Their clients are those experiencing homelessness, senior citizens, veterans, people with disabilities and the under-employed.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING
There will be 2 available volunteer opportunities this day:
1) Food Pantry - Volunteers will help with sorting food, pack groceries and take groceries to clients cars
2) Thrift Store - Help with sorting donations both inside and outside in their donation alley
