Description
Sleep in Heavenly Peach is a non-profit with over 300 local chapters across the U.S. The local chapters build and deliver bunk beds and single beds to children 3-17 years of age that have no bed to sleep on. There are opportunities to volunteer for both remote Build Days and Bed Delivery Days.

Tasks:
Build Days - Volunteers will measure, cut, sand, tap and assemble bed pieces. These days usually run 4-5 hours.
Bed Delivery Days - Volunteers will load bed pieces and bedding into pick up trucks, minivans, SUV or whatever vehicle then drive to the recipient's home, carry bed pieces and bedding inside, assemble beds and make beds with linens. These days usually last 2.5-3.5 hours.
Attire:
Volunteers should wear old clothes they don't mind getting dusty or dirty. Close-toed shoes are required for Build Days and recommended for Bed Delivery Days.
Family Friendly:
While all ages are welcome to join for Bed Build and Delivery days, Bed Build days are 7+ years of age with parental supervision.
Online indemnification forms are required from each volunteer prior to picking up a tool to help.
