Description
Join us at Brookdale Willows Sherman Assisted Living Facility in Sherman Texas on Saturday, November 1 from 3:30-4:30pm.
Every year, one of our favorite Halloween traditions isn’t about getting candy — it’s about giving it. 🎃
We call it backward trick-or-treating. The kids get all dressed up in their costumes, grab their buckets, and instead of going door to door, we head to a local nursing home. There, they get to share candy, smiles, and a whole lot of joy with the residents.
It’s one of those experiences that fills everyone’s heart — the residents light up when they see the kids, and the kids leave feeling so proud and happy. Watching your children bring that kind of joy to others… there’s just nothing that compares. 🧡
Every single year, this event reminds me what the season is really about — kindness, connection, and spreading a little magic wherever we can. ✨
