WHAT IS BECKY'S PLACE?

Becky's Place is providing shelter and creating hope for women and children who are experiencing homelessness and moving toward a life of self-sufficiency. We offer services to women 18 years of age and up including women with children.

VOLUNTEER DAY DETAILS
Date: Monday, April 8th
Time: 9:00am - 11:30am (please arrive 5 minutes early)
Address: 1108 5th Street Bedford IN 47421
Parking: Parking is limited, please carpool as much as possible. We will be able to park along the back entrance road along the sides in the grass.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING
We will be helping with numerous projects from painting rooms, minor repairs of broken items (fixtures, appliances, furniture), light yard work/cleanup. General organizing and cleaning up.

CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS
Wear closed toe shoes like sneakers or boots and clothes you don't mind getting paint on. If you have work gloves those might be handy. Please also bring your own water and snacks if you'd like.

NOTES

This is a family friendly volunteer event, but if you have littles, please know that it will be your responsibility to supervise them.

If you have small tool bags with generic tools we could use that would be great. Also looking for a few leaf blowers. All other supplies like paint brushes/rollers and trash bags we will have on hand.
