Best Friends Animal Sanctuary

We’re making sure that everyone has the same access to loving pets and that every adoptable pet has access to the comfort of a foster home instead of a kennel in a shelter.

Volunteers must create an account online in advance HERE. Volunteer opportunities will be available once an account has been created. Spots fill quickly.

Jobs vary but can include: Cleaning (animal living areas, dishes, mopping, etc.)
Providing the animals with enrichment (car rides, petting, playing, etc.)
Walking the animals with a leash or stroller
Preparing and serving pet food
Making toys or treats
Doing upkeep on the grounds and buildings (weeding, painting, building, doing maintenance projects, etc.)
Volunteers may also be eligible to take approved cats, dogs and bunnies on sleepovers, which is a fun activity for all and helps prepare pets for forever homes.

RV parking for small Class C and Class B RV's is available. Larger RV's and those wishing to stay overnight can make a campground reservation at the Best Friends RV Park
