Birthday Cake Kit Collection Week (Santa Rosa Beach, FL)

Isn't it fun to celebrate kids on their birthdays? The way they light up and get excited for their day! A day they feel so loved, special and celebrated - especially with a cake just for them!

Sadly, some parents don't have the financial means to make their little ones feel special on their birthday with a cake. You may be thinking... how can I help? We're so glad you asked! :)

We are coming together as a community to make BIRTHDAY CAKE KITS for kiddos in need! These birthday cake kits are directly going to Caring & Sharing of South Walton. Caring & Sharing of South Walton provides crisis relief to our neighbors in need through financial assistance, food, counseling, and case management. Below is everything you will need to gather for one kit. You are welcome to assemble as many kits as you'd like.

• 9×13 disposable aluminum foil pan -- if using a pan with a clear plastic lid, please secure plastic lid to the bottom of the foil pan so it does not crack in transit
• 1 box of cake mix (any flavor)
• 1 tub of cake frosting (any flavor)
• 1 can of Sprite or other lemon lime soda (store brand will work) in case the recipient doesn’t have eggs or oil
• Birthday candles
• Handwritten note explaining how to bake with Sprite if recipient does not have eggs and oil:
  Happy Birthday! To make cake without eggs, oil, and water, mix 1 can of Sprite with the cake mix. That’s it! Bake according to the back of box. Enjoy!
• Optional: Anything else you'd like to add - balloons, roll of streamers, tablecloth, birthday plates or napkins, container of cake sprinkles -- it just has to fit in the pan
