NON-PROFIT: CARDS FOR HOSPITALIZED KIDS, HUGS FOR SOLDIERS & TEEN KITCHEN PROJECT
Cards for Hospitalized Kids (CFHK) is a 501(c)(3) certified nonprofit charitable organization that spreads hope, joy & magic to hospitalized kids across America through uplifting, handmade cards. CFHK distributes cards monthly to Children's Hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses in all 50 states.
HUGS FOR SOLDIERS, founded in 2003, is a ministry of Duluth First United Methodist Church, Duluth, Georgia. The ministry was started as a way to support and provide encouragement to U.S. military personnel who were deploying overseas.
The Teen Kitchen Project is a nonprofit organization that brings young people into the kitchen to learn to cook delicious and nourishing food. The meals they prepare are delivered to individuals and families who are in crisis due to a life-threatening illness like cancer. We serve families in Santa Cruz County, California.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING
We will be making handmade cards for hospitalized kids, deployed soldiers and meal boxes provided by Teen Kitchen Project. We will provide the paper, markers, crayons and colored pencils. You bring the creativity. No craftiness or drawing skills required.
AGE REQUIREMENTS: We ask that parents supervise their children at all times
