Card Making for Hospitalized Children (Traverse City, MI)

Join us at Holiday RV Park & Campground in Traverse City, MI to make cards for hospitalized children that are facing tough medical diagnosis and long hospital stays!

WHERE WILL WE BE SENDING THE CARDS:
We will be sending the cards to Cards for Hospitalized Kids (CFHK). CFHK is a 501(c)(3) certified nonprofitable charitable organization that spreads hope, joy, and magic to hospitalized kids across America through uplifting, handmade cards. CFHK distributes cards monthly to Children's Hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses in all 50 states.

VOLUNTEER DAY DETAILS:

Date: Wednesday, June 5, 2024
Time: 5:00pm-6:00pm
Address: Holiday RV Park & Campground - 4860 US-31 South Traverse City, MI 49685. We will be meeting at the pavilion.
Tasks: All are welcome to join us to make encouraging cards for hospitalized children. No matter your age or skill set, we'd love to have you! All supplies will be provided, but you are welcome to bring what you would like to use (please no glitter or anything that can fall off the cards as this can create health concerns for some patients)
Age Minimum: This is a family friendly volunteer event, but if you have littles, please know that it will be your responsibility to supervise them and help them with their cards.

Not staying at the campground, but want to seRV? Awesome! Arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in at the campground office and they will direct you from there.
