What is Dragonfly Dog Park and Nature Trails?

Dragonfly Dog Park and Nature Trails at Safe Harbor Farm was created by workamping RVers many years ago, and it is maintained both by local volunteers and RVers that stay at Safe Harbor Farm for a month or more at a time.

Dragonfly volunteers help to groom fifty acres of forest and two miles of nature trails, and all you need is a pair of work gloves and a love of physical outdoor activity in pretty locales. (Okay, a comfortable pair of boots helps, too.)

This volunteer opportunity is a great way to seRV and workcamp! They have 3 EWS sites for volunteers (a stay of 3 weeks or more is requested to use the sites.) RV parking is available.

Tasks Needed: Volunteers help groom nature trails and help with landscaping. If volunteers have the skills, they can also help with handyman projects and building beehives. Some work is labor intensive.

Age Restrictions: Most volunteers are adults, but Dragonfly Dog Park will also accept older kids to help volunteer. Please ask about your specific children's ages.

Background Checks: To volunteer and workcamp, 2 reference checks will be performed.

Clothing Requirements: Layers, no open-toed shoes, bring comfortable boots and work gloves.
