ABOUT OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD:
The Samaritan's Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoebox gifts‑filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items—and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
Our group will be volunteering in the seasonal processing center sorting center located in Denver, Colorado. We will be responsible for inspecting the shoebox gifts/toys, sorting inappropriate items, working with filler items, separating boxes by age and gender, and boxing shoeboxes in designated cartons.
IMPORTANT NOTES: Volunteers MUST be aged 13+. Volunteers will need to be able to participate for the entire 4 hour shift. Standing, some light lifting and bending will be required. A break room is available and you are welcome to take breaks as needed. Water and snacks are allowed in the break area. All efforts will be made to keep our group together inside the processing center during our shift, but it is not always possible. We appreciate your flexibility. Space is limited. You will receive an email confirming your participation.
